Note: D'Lynn no longer breeds pure German Angora rabbits. I only have 2 individual rabbits that are pure Germans and I do not intend to breed them to each other. I do have high percent Germans BRED FOR A MUCH SOFTER COAT, more an English texture. However, there is still a yield well over 2x the amount an English angora would give, and no matting/molting. After 2 years and many pounds of pure German angora fiber, I have decided that I strongly prefer the English texture both on the rabbit and in the yarn.
THERE ARE NO PURE GERMAN LITTERS DUE, either now or in the foreseeable future.
Currently available:
Two 75% German bucks. F5 generation,
breeding true now. Both parents are heavy woolers.
However, one buck has full furnishings, the other is clean faced. These boys
are especially sweet bunnies, very loving and trusting.
Inquire here if you are interested
in the ultimate spinner's bunny, a cross with German type density, French type
easy care, and English type texture.
